I'm reading contrudicting posts Rolleyes I'm trying to decide if it is worth buying motionplus for this game. I love Wii Sports, and the Resort version should be much better. Also if it plays fine, can someone share with their settings.....

BIG THANKS Big Grin
Well, a few months ago, Ive been playing it a lot on dolphin. Then there were some crashing issues but I think they've gone again.
I cannot really tell how it is now since my computer resides a few hundred miles away from me since a few weeks :'-(
Yeah it does. Random crashes seem to have gone away with 5000+revs too.

Note, that the game is not playable at all without real motionplus (neither on dolphin nor real wii). Because every game requires it for starting. Some games also, like swordplay and frisbee, need you to point at screen before starting. That needs a sensor bar. You can't play with emulated wiimote and m+ extension, because it's not yet supported.

Fps is full in all sports. For doggy fisbee you need to put framelimit from auto to off. I used RC1 revision as a reference so it should work on that definitely.

Use config:

enable dualcore
enable idle skip
copy efb to texture
efb scaled copy hack
framelimiter auto
(16x anisotrophic filter, 9xaa, but optional)
enable audio throttle
vsync on
disable safe texture cache

Sorry, but you pirated the game. Because it is only sold bundled with a motionplus.

Thanks for the settings... Wink

FYI I don't have the game yet Rolleyes
Ok, in that case it makes sense if it's true. Though, fortunately the game is included with motionplus, so there is no separate purchase needed Smile

Also, if someone is using emulated wiimote, it is indeed possible to tick the 'enable m+' if you modify config ini file. It will show up. But it will not recognise in the game.

It just says "one or more wiimotes does not have motionplus connected". I suspect this feature will be added later to emulated wiimote.

Problem is, some games could be played fine with emulated wm (like sword speed slicing), or bicycling. But stuff like frisbee, duel, archery will be impossible. For instance, in archery you need to pull back nunchuck and aim it correct on the board.
I've just tested RC1 revision and it still got random crashes after ~5min of gameplay.
I can't even finish island flyover ;(

r4727 doesn't have random crashes, although i get slower speed and state saves are not working on that revision.
I really hope some1 will figure out how to fix random crashes in Wii Sports Resort.
An emulated wii motion plus makes not much sense to me
I found, Disable Dual Core for no crash, work great but not full

hello @everybody
maybe this is working, but very slowly with my config ( 35% - 40%).
best results for me (no freezes) with older revs up to r4758, but only with opengl and that slows down the game too ( 65% - 75%) :-(
i would like to play the game with older revs and direct3d9, is this possible without issues?
