If I got a disc and use Alcohol 120%, for example, to generate an .iso file...?

in theory it should work, i burned an iso file to a dvd with alcohol 120%, as i suspected the computer couldn't read the burned dvd yet the wii also couldnt

A last ask: to use Alcohol 120% and get a .iso directly of a disc, I need a LG DVD drive?

you need rawdump 2 for that, not alcohol 120%
and you can burn the iso with alcohol and windows wouldn't be able to read it (or say its corrupt) and neither could a not modded wii
however it should work with dolphin
