i just buy a new pc amd phenom2 x4 965 3.4
with m4a78 pro board and 1066 hyper x went i put in the bioa 1066 my pc crash some one told me to put my mem voltage higher thx for reply my memorie khx8500d2t1k2 4go kit
just mentione i start windows without problem crash when playing or ramdom crach when i set at auto no trouble but it set a 800 mhz and that suck

i just listen some one tell me to increase voltage and put some where 5 5 5 15 dont know where and did i risque to do this very thx man
For starters, never mess with voltages or timings if you don't even know where to do it. This already indicates you have no prior experience with it, and that makes it very unwise to experiment with on your new system. Personally I'd never go with the advise of changing the voltages just to set the RAM speed to the correct amount. Because it's usually only one simple setting in the BIOS that lets you change it.
Next thing I have to ask you,
You said your Windows was crashing after changing the speed to 1066 in the BIOS, but I need to know something; Since you bought a new system, that includes a new motherboard as well. Did you do a clean install of Windows with this? Because if you haven't done this yet, you should do it. You almost always will run into problems if you continue trying to run your Windows from an old system, (if it even boots at all).

i not a newbie like i let know the think is i am french and many time i got difficulty to understand english but i really try and i finish by understand it just buy all seperateli and yes i install new windows 7 on it i know how change setting in bios i do overclock my last amd x2 5200 2.6 to 28 but was not force to increse voltage just multiplier

i forgot i can boot i can do my indice of perfomance under windows 7 no problem only when i start game or sometime for no reason

futur shop lol when i upgrade video card the pc store was out of psu and i buy the best they got support sli 170 dollard canadien
i think is not so bad i check voltage every think look normal
