A small patch by me to allow you adjusting the ir sensor sensitivity just like on the real wii splitted into 5 levels. 3 is default.

PS You dont need to recompile the entire dolphin project, just recompile the wiimote plugin, that does the trick.

What is the actual effect of this ? The cursor moves faster ?
@GodRays, faster or slower, you adjust it Tongue

Nice patch there. Can't really test now, so does this work with real sensor bar (wireless or Wii's, any)

Oehr

the builds without this patch are at sensitivity 3, right?
"The last byte of both blocks determines the intensity sensitivity, with increasing values reducing the sensitivity. The Wii Remote will return data for the dimmest objects possible when the last byte of block 1 is 0x41, and second byte of block 2 is 0x00. Setting the sensitivity as high as possible, without unwanted light being tracked, is recommended to achieve the highest subpixel resolution. As the sensitivity is reduced, the subpixel resolution also reduces, approaching the true sensor resolution of 128x96. " [..]

It's just the ir intensity sensitivity tracking.. its not the speed of the cursor!
You can make it less jumpy for example under bright light situations.

And yes, default by wiiuse is 3.
Feedback is appreciated.
So, it's more like improving IR accuracy ? Interesting !

Does it drain more battery ?
It wont. However 3 should be the best deal for most users. If ur under very bright light (sun/lamp) situations it's still good to be able to adjust the settings.
By the by, I bought a wireless sensor bar, it didn't work with dolphin because the NAND dump from my wii had set the sensitivity to something the unofficial bar couldn't use.

I made an issue of the lack of this option a while ago, if this patch can be worked into the SVN I would REALLY appreciate it.
Someone has an recompiled wiimote plugin with this patch ?

Thx
Nice one, pm me if you want access - if not I'm sure someone will pick this up and commit soon it since this is a useful feature.
