So I have successfully been able to hook up my wiimote to my pc and use it in Dolphin. That's not a big deal. But what I want to be able to do is the following: Have the wiimote automatically connect on pc startup, start glovePIE, and run my script. I have successfully set this up so that everything SHOULD work. But I am having some quirky behavior...
When the wiimote connects, the four leds will continously blink until finally the remote will turn off after about five minutes. This happens normally if I don't open up dolphin. When glovePIE runs it will not detect any wiimotes, thus providing no functionality. Once I run dolphin, however, the lights stop flashing and the light for controller one pops on. Once this step is done, I can go back to glovePIE, run my script, and have a successfully configured wiimote.
My goal is to cut out the process of having to open dolphin. How can I get the wiimote to do what I want it to?
Any help is appreciated,

You run glovepie the led in wiimote will disappear because wiimote now become pc controller ,not wiimote any more(this will let you use gamecube). If you want to play wii then close glovepie(actually i use this program when bluesoliel not responde) open dolphin then click on "wiimote icon" -choose real wiimote-refresh wiimote then the led will appear immediately
The problem is that when I run glovepie on a fresh reboot, the leds do NOT disappear. They continue to blink, and the wiimote and script do not work. They don't disappear until after I have run dolphin (and opened up a game) and then closing out of dolphin. At this point the leds disappear and then glovepie will work.
As I said earlier Dolphin isn't my problem. It's in fact a quirky work-around I have found...
By the way I am using the default Microsoft bluetooth stack. I couldn't seem to get bluesoleil to work for me. Came back with an error saying it couldn't find my bluetooth device...

If you have problem with bluesoleil then I guide u:
_After install and reboot ,go to bluesoleil installed folder open "bluesoleil"(image1) or use icon choose "classic view"
_Plug in Bluetooth device, turn on bluetooth, wiimote press 1&2 and right click the icon(image2) choose search device
_After it reconnize wiimote, right click on "nintendo..." search device again (image3)then right click it choose "connect to human....interface"(image4)
_Done ,everytime u want to use wiimote just right click "nintendo controller" choose connect<the bluesoleil folder appear on your desktop>(image5)
Hope this help
When I try to turn on bluetooth it says "Can not start Bluetooth. Hardware not found." However when using the utility built in to windows, I have no problem accessing the device. Perhaps it is incompatible with my device? I have an ASUS USB-BT21.
After messing around with some glovePIE settings, I have found that when the "Enable COM2 PCTV Remote" is selected I can bypass the dolphin step. The trouble is I can't seem to be able to start glovePIE with this setting on by default. Know of any flags I could use to do this? Because that would solve my problems completely.

when first install bluesoleil ,a message apear "do you want to install driver anyway" -yes,if u choose no then bluesoleil will fail can't reinstall <sadly>,if "Can not start Bluetooth. Hardware not found" appear ,open glovepie run the script(this step will force Bluesoleil connect, remember press 1&2 at that time).Still trouble ?,I'm affraid you must reinstall your windows one again (clean install) or twist driver on safemode
Ok so I reinstalled it and it appeared to work this time... is this program capable of automatically connecting to my wiimote? I intend on disconnecting all other input devices from my pc so that when I turn it on it will automatically set itself up for use with the wiimote... The computer is a media center box, so 99% of the time I am using it to watch movies or listen to music using XBMC. I'm about to go to bed and call it a day, otherwise I would google it myself.
Thanks,

I can't seem to get bluesoleil to automatically connect to my wiimote. I'm not sure if this is because I can't find the setting or if it simply does not exist. Any ideas?
no,that bluesoleil is not automatic, you will manual it by yourself(press 1&2 everytime you wanna make a connection)

did you have any success in having the wiimote automatically connect upon pc startup? If so, please share. I assume, your goal is to use your wiimote for dolphin and not as a pc mouse. Correct?
Thanks
