@jesse, Mario Galaxy mostly. I had the 3D effect turned up to max for nvidia. The effect on for example text is quite strong, it pops out, hovering over my desk, but when actualy gaming the effect is quite vague. In PC games like Batman: AA the effect is quite incredible, miles ahead of how it looks with Dolphin.
I don't think anything is wrong, otherwise the text wouldnt be so 3D, maybe i'm too spoiled with the PC titles that have a really good 3D effect.
Batman AA has incredible depth, makes me believe my TV's depth stretches far deep into my neighbours apartment haha. I've not had that effect with any dolphin game i've tried so far.

If you have depth all the way up, perhaps try increasing your convergence? (Ctrl+F5 and Ctrl+F6 after you have them enabled in the nvidia control panel) I play Batman AA also, and I would say the 3D effect on many dolphin games is just as impressive when set up properly.
Mmmm... I have an ATI 6950 and 27" Acer Monitor (H274HL). Can I run 3D games ?
Also what type of 3D glass I need to buy ? Some are active, some are passive, blue & red etc. I'm a bit confused..
Hey, I'm trying to get Skyward Sword to work with 3D Vision. I've tried v7719, which is the recommended version, but there are shadow issues with DirectX9 in that version. Other versions all have banding or the same shadow issues. DirectX11 is beautiful in 2D, though. Is there a reason that 3D Vision support isn't there for DirectX11? I know that 3D Vision didn't used to support DirectX11, but it supports it nowadays. Is there a way this patch could be applied to the DirectX11 renderer? Or is there a way to activate 3D Vision mode in DirectX11? I noticed that the option was in the ini file, but it didn't seem to do anything. Does anyone else have any recommendations for getting Skyward Sword to work with 3D Vision and no banding?
Where did you get v7719 download from, please?

It was on the main download page of Dolphin, or at least it used to be. Now it's not needed, though, as the latest version fixed the texture banding issues. I've been playing Skyward Sword in stereo 3D for a while... and it's beautiful. However, I have been having some strange issues. I've detailed them in a thread here:
http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=20734
If anyone could figure that one out, it would be great. Basically, Zelda's not playable in Stereo 3D at a 16:9 aspect ratio (such as 1080p) when Scaled EFB Copy is set. I've resorted to setting my res to 1600x1200 and everything works fine.

Thanks, it's working fine whilst playing now after your advice and "enabling background input" in wiimote emulation configuration as suggested by somebody else.
#1. I still find it strange that a setting in "wiimote emulation" configuration affects the "real wiimote" settings that are used in skyward sword?
#2. Anyway like I say it's working whilst playing but my issue is when it comes to " emulation stopping" and "existing full-screen mode" using the usual hotkeys ESCAPE and ALT + F4, how are you managing the above procedures whilst playing Skyward Sword?
#3. On your 16:9 ratio issue I'm not sure if I can help as I'm using a Acer 3-D vision monitor and not a laptop screen but depending on the build of dolphin you're using surely that shouldn't make a difference as I'm not having the problems you mentioned?
#4. By the way which build of dolphin are you using please?
#5. Maybe we can figure your problem out by comparing configurations and build numbers?
Hey was just wondering if I could get any tips on how to make my Dolphin r7719 run Skyward Sword in HD3D.
The game it self whilst not being in 3D runs flawlessly in 1080p, but when I try to use DDD or iZ3D things just dont seem to work out at all. I have been working at this for a few hours and have become frustrated any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure if I can help (but I hate it when no one gives a comment either way and leave you hanging) as I'm not using "Dolphin r7719", but I am using "Dolphin 3.0-235 Dirty" which works flawlessly with 3D Vision except for the well-known issue of "exitING fullscreen mode crashing and corruption issue"(see my other thread on skyward sword and on the Google code for dolphin forum).
Fullscreen is necessary for 3D vision to work so we are in a Catch-22 as dolphin doesn't seem to be able to cope with the two scenarios (older versions I've tried anyway).
I have tried to get a PM or reply from people who say they have finished a game in 3-D as to how they closed and exited full-screen without corrupting and crashing the titles cache file folder, but no one seems to be able to answer that question as of yet.
I have stopped playing Skyward Sword until this 3-D issue is addressed as once you've played in 3-D there is no going back, trust me it makes that much of a difference especially with boss fights and aiming weapons like the flying beetle etc.
Sorry, I ignored this thread for a little while while I got busy doing other stuff. The way I exit Dolphin while in 3D Vision mode is simple: just bring open the Home Menu and select the Wii Menu button. If you don't have that set up, the game will lose focus and Dolphin will give an error message. At that point you can click through the message and stop emulation like normal using the stop button. Dolphin will still crash when you exit, but saving and everything will work fine.
I'm interested in getting the 16:9 issue fixed again, as I just got a brand new 3D Monitor (BenQ XL2420TX) and now I can't play Zelda on it at its native res without all the graphics looking flat (except 3D models). I tried the latest version as of today and it still doesn't work. Did someone say they had it working in 16:9? Let me know if there's something I can do to help fix this.
