don't think so he repeated it a lot and said the PS2 was more powerful than gc, he didn't say psone in a single phrase... so yeah i don't think it was a typo
I think admin was being sarcastic.

I didn't notice that reading the first post, Brandon must be hitting the booze often

If it's really clocked at 2.6ghz like he says, it could run 2d games such as Muramasa, with that graphics card. You'd be surprised how little resources a lot of wii games actually take for emulation.

Naturally, he wont get anything past 10-15 fps on 3d games like galaxy or twilight princess, house of the dead etc..

My friend insisted I install dolphin on his turion laptop (probably even worse than this guys celeron) with 1gb ram, and surprisingly it would run.. At about 80% speed. Super mario bros was pretty playable, for one. Due to integrated gfx, though, it looked like crap.

Unless he mess with his setting like me 17 to 50 fps in SMG o.o
the gfx for Ratchet & Clank: Going commando don't really look the greatest, but it runs a strong 60 - 65 fps. i used all the performance settings in my nVidia control panel and made them baseline, there's a little lag on large explosions. but other than that the game plays fine. gfx is not my concern. i dont really care how it looks as long as everything's visible. my card was manufactured by ZOTAC with the GeForce 6200 chipset it has ZOTAC firestorm software (overclock/performance tuning) [Which i tryed disabling for dolphin] that makes it work a little better. i tweaked a few more settings and made dolphin run about 30 fps, which is close to acceptable but still a bit short of playability. I used to play a game called Atlantica(Atlantica.ndoorsgames.com), and that game was ridiculously slow until i set my control panel just right, eventually making it work without lag. so my guess since i cant really ask anyone to specially program a plugin, ill have to keep tweaking. if i kill my computer in the process... then oh well. ill be buying a new one in about a month or so anyways, thanks for the support folks!

Ill check back in case anything new develops here.
im sorry for taking so long to post on here
i have too much to do...

P.S....
Playstation games run 200-500 fps Prime example- FF7, FFT, Vagrant Story[just a few of my fav ps1 games

hey brandonx can you tell me what config you use for pcsx2...it's driving me crazy and my specs are better than yours :/

This discussion seems a bit off topic, but on almost any reasonable system with 5k+ series radeon or 2xx nvidia card, PCSX2 can run any ps2 game without lag. The real issue is graphics artifacts in some games. I don't have any screen lag in most ps2 games while emulating.. Except some fighting games soulcalibur3, mk armageddon etc.
