This is hardly news to anyone who follows this thread, Michigunskiy.
First point of business for any latecomer should be browsing the most recent posts, say last 30-50 or so, before posting themselves.

No offence.
Sorry guys! I understand everything. In the future this will not happen again.

NeoBrain says: ...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Apparently ingame the game will only switch between an RGB8_Z24 and a Z24 buffer, as well as between an RGB8_Z24 and a RGBA6_Z24 buffer.
Thus, it most likely doesn't have anything to do with format change emulation at all. At least unless I'm missing something obvious now.

No fix from me I guess then, not sure if sl1nk3's chances were in any way correct since he didn't post any source.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For me, his words - the words of God.
The situation is similar for Star Wars - Rogue Squadron 3D and Star Wars - Shadow of the Empire for N64 emulators. But at least the old version of these great SW arcade games is present on your PC.

With best wishes and a cool summer. This is my last post in this thread.

Eeyy don't feel like that, if you feel like posting then do so.
That info might have been old but you did nothing wrong.

Shadows of the empire runs fine now with the right settings. No flickering at all. Ive completed it recently. Rouge squadron 3d works for pc so there are ways to play both of those games

Ahh Shadows of the Empire, a game I came to love and hate.
What fine memories I have from it, but I remember it was hard as hell back then.
Now it's pretty basic, but sadly the game is way to short.

Well I would say a Star Wars game is always too short for me but I wouldn't be objective as you can guess it Big Grin

That's true in most cases Vador *Looks at that bloody Force Unleashed 2 gibberish*.

But Jedi Knight Dark Forces II, Mysteries of the Sith, Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy for PC was 4 full blown Star Wars adventures for me.
Back then I loved Star Wars more then ever and thought that Star Wars was at it's best with these titles.

Sadly the games that have been made lately Force Unleashed etc. haven't been quite that good in length although they have blown you away on the graphics department.
