Hi,

I spent some time looking for more information about this and I found out something to try. I managed to get the game working at full speed by disabling Idle Skipping which is enabled by default.

There's some slowdowns at some extensive minibosses, but apart from that it seems to be working fine without any graphical glitches.

Thanks anyway

I had played Mega Man 10. It is such a nostalgic perfection of classic 2D Mega Man gameplay, embracing retro platform action. In this game each one has their own unique weapons and vulnerabilities. In this game there are loads of ‘mini’ challenges, such as completing the whole game on a single life. Once you’ve mastered the levels, there’s a time attack mode and online leaderboards to aim for.
I get a really bad flickering screen.. any ideas on how to fix it? I get this for both mm10 and 9... I feel like I'm going to have a seizure o_o

I have a question regarding the resolution of the Mega Man Wiiware games. When I try the resolutions that support the game, like 640x480 or 1280x960, I don't get a pixel-accurate picture.

This is most noticeable when looking at the health bar.
Any suggestions on how to even out the picture?

Recent revs seem to no longer use an exact 640x480 resolution. See page 3 of Megaman 9 and 10 garbled graphics, for more details.

Hey, Kolano. I checked that thread, but there was no solution. Even the strange custom resolutions mentioned didn't fix the issue.

Have there been any other reports/solutions made concerning the problem?

Yes, if you follow through that thread, it seems that the specific odd resolution needed varies for some reason. Unfortunately, outside of making repeated slight adjustments there doesn't seem to be a good way to work out the appropriate resolution to use.

And even then it's not perfect. In fact, the effect he's showing above is almost as close as you can get to something playable. It's quite unbearable. I stated in that thread which revision caused the issue, but I don't think it's going to be looked into at all by a dev, though I'd give them my first born if it would be.
Heya guys, I just wanted to finally start playing Megaman 9, however, there's those dark lines all through the screen...
I read something about it cannot be fixed anymore by using a specific resolution...is that still the case? Or is there some magic resolution I can use that makes the screen look right?
