the game is pretty much enjoyable, but being stuck at 640x480 sucks. if only native resolution support is added to D3D, then we could play this game with higher resolution. already finished the game, now proceeding with hard mode using Protoman.

now I see what was the problem for me, the problem is that I had to put Force 4:3 Standard in aspect ratio and the problemas get fixed. Fully playable so far

It's still flickering like hell for me
.
Here's my settings :
D3D : Force 4:3, 640x480, Enable CPU->EFB access, Safe Texture Cache : Fast, EFB Scaled Copy, Enable EFB Copy : To texture
Config : Dual Core, Idle Skiping, HLE the ILP, JIT recompiler, Use Panic Handlers
I tried with R5222 and R5211, same problem.
Any idea ?

flickering is a known issue. have you tried the recently added real XFB? it should eliminate the flickers. but still, it's pretty much playable even with the flickering.

I know it was a know issue, but according to cel123 in the previous page, "I TRIED it, the game is fixed in DX9 plugin, no more flickering! hurray!" .
When I check "Enable Real XFB" in the D3D plugin, all I get is a white screen when I start the game, any idea why ?
Edit : I checked "Enable XFB" and it works ! Thanks
BTW, I'm getting minor slowdowns during boss battles, it's totally playable and I guess it's normal, but if there's a fix, might as well ask for it :p

so far there's no fix for it. the devs already stated that using real XFB might slow down some games.

Hi,
I've been trying to get this to work with various builds now and the best I got was with r5211 that cel123 used and with the settings that were suggested (d3d, 640x480 etc.). Still, it doesn't play full speed even though the emu claims so (I'd say it plays about 80% speed).
My computer specs are:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 2.66GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX
RAM: 8 GB DDR2 800MHz
OS: Windows Vista 64-bit SP2
So I don't think my comp is exactly being a bottleneck or anything.
Does anybody have any ideas? This and Mega Man 9 are pretty much the only games I want to get to work anyway so I'd appreciate it if you can figure out something I could try. Or then I just have to wait and hope that the game will become fully compatible in some future revision.

have you tried setting framelimit to 120?
