About the game (IGN)

Mega Man 10 is a game for the core Mega Man franchise's many fans, and its appeal inherently sits with its backwards-looking approach. There's nothing new about Mega Man 10's tech, delivery or gameplay. The title looks, sounds, feels and plays like the very first Mega Man game released twenty-three years ago on the NES. Read more

Emulation Status & Speed (Dolphin r5149)
    What works:
  • Everything for the most part.

    What does not work:
  • Some of the menus were missing elements and the colors were messed up when you would go into the pause screen. Most of my issues with the colors and the menu elements missing were fixed by enabling safe texture cache.

    Emulation Speed
  • Reported 100% speed by the emulator but in actuality it runs at about half speed.. same issue as Megaman 9. Sound is mostly 100% speed which is what leads me to believe it's not my computer.

Additional Information

Are there any plans to make this game run as it should? It runs at like half speed despite the emulator reporting 100%. It's the exact same problem that Megaman 9 has. Surely there would be enough support from the community to warrant attempts to fix this. It's not completely unplayable, but Megaman doesn't really have the same charm when the required reaction time to play the game well is essentially doubled.

Try to use " safe texture cache "

okay, let me go take some screenshots
If its anything like Megaman 9, then running it at 640 by 480 res will give the best speed.
I ran it today and noticed that it had pretty much the EXACT same issues as Mega Man 9. Just like MM9, if you run it at 640x480 in D3D, it'll go at a reasonable speed (but still not full for me), though the screen will still flicker. In addition to those issues identical to MM9, the menus also have palette issues, and if you pause in game and resume, the stage's colors will go crazy.

that's a wrong banner.

anyway, i tried with r5037 and i get very low FPS. 20 - 30 something-ish. but when i tried with r4957, the game plays great. fast 40 -50-ish but flickers like hell. the only noticeable difference was when you type in your name, in r5037 you name appears on screen while on r4957 doesn't. see screenies. also notice the fps.

Rev 4957

so it's playable, but if you want more decent speed, try an older revs like r4957.
May be the difference are your setting, try enable EFB copy to texture both revision. How about "safe texture cache" enable, sure fix some gfx error, also try SSE3,SSE4 for more speed .Some game gfx work with 4771 only (the gfx plugin),btw i not have this game jet
lolpirates (im sure only 1% of the ppl who have the game bought it)

* DacoTaco wants to actually buy mm10 but its not released in EU yet Sad
