Many games like Trauma Center 1 and 2, Rersident Evil chronicles, has the cursor out of position, using
wiimote settings is possible to adjust the cursor position, but that is something boring and hard to do.
My suggestion is to use a calibration system similar to Nintendo DS, where four squares appear on screen and clicking on them the adjustment is done in seconds.

These settings could be saved to file or profile, and re-calibrated any time in the game.

I suppose you mean the Wiimote IR Pointer settings?
I've got something in mind for those already (namely, just using the mouse position right away, calculating the IR Points as needed instead), but I'm lacking the time to work on it.
The IR pointers do need to be revised, adjusting the width/height and position is pretty awkward, if you want the point to precisely follow your mouse cursor.
Maybe this will be useful to calibrate IR Pointer or/and mouse
since the games need to be callibrated individually , you would need to put that feature in the game itself
why the dev wont make an automatique stable IR pointers wish is really cool

Games like Trauma Center and Resident UC need that cursor(IR Pointer) be more slowly than another like Mario, For more accuracy in delicate moments, And because of this the cursor does not accompany the mouse in many games.
i made a wii ir sensor bar out of 6 old assorted remotes from a boot sale cost 6 euro i then wired them up 3 one side and 3 the other side the width i put it apart is 13 cm or 130mm i tested one version with 2 ir leds on a usb it worked but not that well then i connected the 1 with the 2 leds up to a multy power adaptor it burnt out at abouth 9 volts. mark 2 with 3 sensors i dident even bother connectng it to the usb i went straight for the power adaptor the best voltage is 7. v as i found out the max is 9 .
This configuration is verry accurate the extra voltage is key and the distance apart is also a crucial element if yours is currently running on 5 v usb consider trying 7 volt on a multy adaptor itll work better all round.
