Hi, I was playing dolphin fine on xp32, then i upgraded to window 7x32 but now the plugins under gamecube and wiimote are missing. The folders are the same, and I tried to download the rar a few times so I know it's in there but my computer is not seeing it.

Can anyone help?

TIA
have you dx current?

Hey darkshadw when i click on your link, Norton says the site contains Suspicious.MH690 (virus???)

Check this please!
How is that possible, the link he posted is to a thread on this very same forum. Your anti-virus is probably spitting out a false positive else other members would be reporting the same.

Download, extract and/or install these to solve your problem:

DirectX Web Updater

If the above doesn't work, download, extract and install this:

Full DirectX Redistributable Package (February 2010)

Also download and install these:

Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package 2008 (x86)

Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package 2008 (x64)

Since you have a 64-bit operating system you may want to install the x86 and x64 version of the Visual C++ Redistributable 2008 package if you plan on switching between the x86 and x64 builds of Dolphin like I do.
Here a screen capture of Norton internet security report (sorry it's in french!). it appears not when donloading but when i click on the link above!
May be that sites not certificate ,forget your antivirus ,uninstall it
why we need a programme like antivirus ,that not good for dolphin

Some user report an antivirus has blocked dolphin ,not sure what antivirus
Norton is a piece of crap. Get Microsoft Security Essentials, it's free !

Agreed, Norton is complete garbage except for the corporate/more expensive versions. Home version is riddled with false positives and doesn't provide adequate protection, not to mention you have to renew it every so often to keep up to date.

Microsoft Security essentials is light weight and is very good at what it does, I have to give props to Microsoft for actually doing something right besides their newest operating system Windows 7.

I also would recommend Avast, but it's real time protection is a bit heavy and tends to cause a bit of slowness and slower web page loading on slow connections due to it's nature to scan everything.
The Avast have free version but I can't access some webpages like black web or contain many pop-up,your PC need PC ultilities than antivirus,try "glary ultilities" or "system care" for free,it can fix trouble-shooting ,ie,remove spyware,defragment,gaming boost...etc,
