Tnx man, teh game works flawlessly so far with r7128! I can't believe it. I guess the devs are indeed nowadays more interested in wii compatibility so breakings happen, which is understandable... Maybe a good idea would be to divide the emulator so that we have one compatible with game cube games and the other with wii games, in a similar way like we have 32 and 64-bit and mac os x versions of the emulator.

Not at all.

To be honest, that's a dumb idea.

That's not comparable at all.

Care to explain your point of view instead of just saying sth is a bad idea?
Not really, since the first two things have been explained at least a dozen of times already on the forums (and each at least twice by me).
Game working almost flawlessly with the 3.0 release, however there's one big problem, the start/pause menu text and items are missing. So I cannot see most text nor items in the inventory, save/load, journals, etc. etc.
I'm using the D3D11 backend and compatibility settings described in the wiki page, GPU is HD5650, any idea what might be the problem? Thanks.

Did you by any chance ovewrite the per game configs with your own? Don't overwrite the gameconfig folder, just copy the Config, Gc and Wii folders in the user directory when you update Dolphin. Otherwise you miss all the game ini updates of the database.
Hi
Quote: I have r7671 and 3.0 and have tried a few others recommended for Eternal Darkness.
The only problem is the DTK music which is constant static noise in all builds, regardless of HLE, LLE etc.
(It's the same if I try to play the ADP files in the Winamp plugin, just plays as noise)
Lot of people have the same bug, but music is working for other. I have this bug on PAL version, someone have found the special configuration for this bug ?
Perhaps a codec problem on the OS ? ATM this game is working fine but with DTK disabled.

Finally. I was very excited, as i read the description for 3.0-600, which promised, that this old bug was fixed.
Just tested it and yes, it smoothly gets over this poem and the game starts with no problems.
Thank you very much for that.
3.0 600 give me static noise on sound...
