Nintendo made their own emulator for N64 on wii, running the games full speed, while fan made emulators that has been developed for many years then ported to wii, doesn't. I think Nintendo is wise enough to take care of it themselves (if it was discovered they broke someone's license it would be a scandal)
they probably have a whole vault of source code from back in the day, the reason they made their emulators for the wii so perfect while pc emulators for older consoles are still buggy and laggy in some games.
they could probably make a wii emulator for pc in a week... or as mentioned, a wii emulator for their next console to run in whats considered low end hardware compared to what dolphin needs.
our PCs are monsters compared to what the wii is or what their next console will be, but still they could make a wii emulator run in their hardware

most likely with the aid of parallel hardware..
Not mine my craptacular laptop runs all games at full speed through a combination of a ridiculous amounts of optimizations and me just about taking it apart every couple of months it would be easier to use my christmas laptop but that's for uni and movies
EDIT: Also nintendo's N64 emulator for the Wii is not perfect you can't save ghost data in Mario Kart and the PAL version of Smash bros has the occasional slowdown unlike the NTSC-U version which runs full speed all the time
Sorry to sound so aggressive but this is one of the dumbest things I have ever read. PC's are x86! Gamecube and wii are powerpc! Dolphin's code is and will be completely unusable on any game console period. The only console to ever use an architecture anything like a pc was the xbox, and they learned from their mistakes after they saw how ridiculously easy they made pirating as a result.
So I will make you a bet. I am so confident that nintendo will not be able to do this that if the next nintendo console uses an x86 architecture and is able to run dolphin code I personally promise to shoot myself in the head with a 12 gauge. The chances have to be less than 1 against 1 billion so I'm pretty safe.
No point in this topic

, Dolphin's code is specialized for X86 machines due to the x86 Emitter. Plus no reason for Nintendo to use 3rd party code when they know how to write their own emulator that works almost perfectly.
