Is anyone still looking into improving this feature? It would be a shame if it only worked with Four Swords Adventures.

Please, Dolphin Devs, pretty please, do not abandon this feature. My OCD will kill me if I don't complete Wind Waker and Sonic Adventure 2 without getting all the content possible for it. I'd even be willing to pay you guys to get these two games working with this feature. Just pretty please, do not abandon this...

It does not.
I think we should consider this mainly as a tool to play Zelda FSA since it's the only game that seems to work fine with it.
I had suggested to make a thread about games working with this. It might be interesting to know if other games really work with it

This is still on my todo list. The list is getting kinda long but this feature is on there.
I think the problem has to do with timing and getting the two emulators to run in sync. There are some send and receive signals that have not been emulated. Last time I worked on it I got to the stage where adjusting the throttle on VBA would also adjust the speed on Dolphin. It didn't help get any of the games working any better. I'll keep on working on that.

I used to play Wind Waker, with my Gamecube Cord Extender plugged in so my GBA SP could sit on the table in front of me, angled towards my face. The minimap was nice, but the Tingle messages were better. It was a fun experience, and I'm glad Nintendo didn't abandon the idea, instead making it the focus of their next platform.
But it would be great if we could get it on Dolphin. My message is only meant for motivation and nostalgia!
That and well, you can't truly 100% the game without it
