Hey,

I'm trying to get Mario Kart Double Dash working in Dolphin. I've read a bunch and tried a few things but I need help.

What happens:

With the most recent builds using OpenGL the game starts and as soon as the cloud guy moves off the screen and the menu is supposed to be brought up (at this point the screen goes black before it should fade back to white), it stays black and the menu never comes up. With direct3d, dolphin crashes as soon as I start the game (no intro screen).

With older builds (from January or so), OpenGL works for a bit and then I get a video driver crash (fully updated drivers). With Direct3d it runs very fast (surpassing the frame limit I set) and eventually crashes (in a race).

My system:

i7 720
geforce gts 250m
4gb ram

I'm sure it should be able to run the game but I just don't know what to do to get it working. Thanks in advance.
Does the Direct3D plugin work with any other games of the current build you have?

Hey, I tried SSBM, and d3d also crashed on starting. Any thoughts?
Which build are you using?

Have you tried switching some options?

I'm running windows 7 x64 using builds 4771, 5064, 5103, 5115 and can't get it working. I don't know which options to mess with.

Yes

I wanted to clarify, I already installed these and I get the crashing anyhow.
Try deleting the User/ShaderCache directory under Dolphin.

How do I do this? The user/cache folder is empty.
