I'm on a mac so i don't have the luxury of installing this on native PC hardware.
I have VMware Fusion 3.0 running XP (my VM of Win7 doesn't support OpenGL yet).

it's having problems loading any wad files
- Error loading Plugins/Plugin_wiiremote.dll: can't read info
- Can't init any Wiimote Plugins
- Couldn't init the core. Check your configuration

I'm trying to run an NTSC based WiiWare game FFIV: the after years. Running Dolphin SVN R 4771
There is a Mac build/version of Dolphin you know..

Even if you could get anything running it would be slow as hell under VMware. I have a powerful system and managed to get Zelda Windwaker booted once under VMware 3.0, ran at like 3 - 4 FPS. Your system also needs to support the x86-64 PC architecture, in that case you might as well use the Mac build of Dolphin.

When I went to the download section they only had windows builds.

I'm currently running Mac Pro Dual Dual Core Xeon 2.66ghz
7 gigs ram, 512 ATI vid card
Does vmware of *nix support opengl? if so, you may want to try ubuntu/fedora (something easy).

You'll probably need to compile yourself, the Dolphin Googlecode site should list everything that is needed:

http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/

CG Toolkit URL: File not found. any proper CG Toolkit that I need to use for snow leopard?
There used to be those who provided Linux and Mac builds, don't know what happened. Just so you are aware the Linux and Mac builds don't run as good as the Windows builds, but a lot better than trying to run through VMware. Tongue

I'm in terminal, following the wiki instructions... terminal is taking forever to build/extract/etc we'll see how it goes.
