since you have an actual cg pad connected you only need to have it recognized in the cg pad pluggin.

ok so im trying to use the gcpad plugin on that new version i downloaded
and well its different but still not working
everything works fine apart from the fact that when i push the right
trigger down dolphin thinks that im pushing the left one down.. Confused
and to make things worse the left trigger doesnt even do anything
its just always on 128 instead of 15 (lowest it goes)
ill show u with some pics

EDIT: ive tried 3 different gamecube controllers and theyre all the same outcome
oh and i swear to god if i find out that my 3 in 1 joybox that i just bought
is the problem im gonna be pissed lol
some one that uses the cg controllers with the joybox has to chime in cause i don't have any, hopefully its just some miss configuration in the recent dolphin revs.... otherwise you're gonna have to buy another joybox lol

I should buy one.

thanks for the help anyways
UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!432@#$%@#$!#@!~@123234241!!!!!!!!!1

lol well ok i figured out its NOT my joybox but rather a problem with dolphin
you see when i unplug my controller and delete the gcpad plugin file
(which resets all the controls) when i go back into the config with no
controller attached the right trigger STILL says 128 and the left one
says 0 (and so it should seeing how theres no controller) so yeah this
proves that the analog trigger function in dolphin "half works" ..
i mean theyve gotten it to recognise that theyre analog and it detects
that im pushing a button down.. but just not the right one and one of them
is f**ked still BUT thats ok, theyre making progress lol

so uhh yeah one step closer to allowing me to replay one of the best games
ever. the whole reason im using an emulator is because my gamecube broke Sad

anyways yeah am i meant to report this problem to the dolphin tech guys
or something..??
there's an issues page, the problem has probably been reported so search first Tongue if not just create an issue http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/list
a similar issue http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/detail?id=1957&q=analog

the guy on that issues page said my issue was 'invalid' and that i need to "config the trigger axis mapping first" ..
what the f**k is that??! theres nothing in that says trigger axis mapping!
did he not read the bit where i said it doesnt even DETECT one of the buttons working Undecided
