don't get me wrong, i fully fully understand that and i very much respect the programmers of this amazing emu but it sounds so hypocritical of people on this board to refuse people help on getting their very own program working. it's really not anyone else's business what anyone should use their program for. i am not giving or encouraging any kind of illegal activity or product. i own many many GC games and i have ISO images of them and have since gotten them working on this emu. I don't own a wii but i wanted to get brawl working on this just because. i find it very hypocritical that people that browse this board refuse to help a newbie at this emu because they judge what the person will do with the program. i also understand that programmers are usually very anti piracy because when you program, you appreciate the work of other people who enjoy your same passion and don't like it when people steal fellow programmers' work.

also, just so you people know since you love looking down on people because they download things that you don't approve of i would like to point out that you all are hypocrites and the very pirates you hate so much. If you live in the united states and think that possession of any kind of ISO or backed up ROM is legal if you own a copy of it then you are wrong. You too are an illegal good for nothing pirate so quit being such a hypocrite. Proof.

Bottom line, the legality of making backup copies of owned games by the means of ROMS, or ISO's has been in question since the early days of MAME. Nintendo, esp, took great action to prevent it. Bottom line, it was decided that it was to expensive to go after people, and what legal action could they really take when the person did legally own the games and harmlessly wanted to make backups in case the media ever was lost or became corrupted. So any attempts to fight it were essentially dropped. However, obtaining a game that you do not, nor ever did own, is blatant stealing and that is illegal, black and white, no matter where you live. And that's what is not condoned here. The purpose of an emulator is so we can still play games we own when the Consoles break (which will eventually happen) & the discs no longer work. Helping to let us play these games for many more years.

I'm not trying to cause an argument. And I mean no disrespect. I just want to make sure the differences are clearly stated.

would you be willing to tell me what i am doing wrong in getting the wii part of dolphin to work and assist me? i would appreciate it.

Couldn't tell ya. I don't own a Wii so I haven't taken any steps in trying to get it to work
