don't tell me to turn off firefox or any other program bcuz i know that and i do it...i'm talking bout other processes

Well, at least none of those processes seems harmful.
But yeah, that's the normal amount of processes for a 2010's multipurpose computer.

You should make a BAT killing at least these processes:
jusched.exe
GrooveMonitor.exe
RTHDCPL.exe -(realtek audio control panel, disable if you want)
uTorrent.exe
sm56hlpr.exe -(dude, this is used for dial-up modems, if you can, disable it completely)
msmgs.exe -(it's the default Windows Messenger, annoying process)
StyleXPService.exe -(i see you tuned your XP, that may have a speed impact on your graphics)

I have no knowledge about the others.
To add to Caco's
turn off Jqs.exe PunkbusterA.exe and PnkbstrB.exe. Jqs is the java quick launch which is not needed and punkbuster is a hack protection for games like America's Army. Not needed. There are some other ones but I don't know off the top of my head what they do. Again.. Google is your friend Boyknowledge.

http://techsalsa.com/what-is-jqsexe-and-how-to-disable-it/ (Jave Quick Starter) aka Jqs.exe

thx to CacoFF and jedikevin20. You reduced my processes from 52-55 to 44-47 and along with gamebooster and gamegain i can play games at least 5fps faster
Yeaaahhhh...Is there any rep button...?if there was i'd totally give you +rep
Big Grin
thanks man, those were pretty useful utilities.
but I also have one more problem, does anyone know how to solve the cpu throttling issue>
is there a trottle option in dolphin?

i was just posting on a thread about this in the gd forum i think....

but first off does dolphin already have this option?

throttle option is hard to implement to a wii emulator...theoritically,it would work but gba is a whole lot weaker than a wii, that's why the throttle option works well...i dunno how it would react to dolphin tho

Disable any framelimiters, there you are, throttle enabled.
Of course, none of our rigs actually has the power to run more tha 3x speed.

at what speeds can you play dolphin CacoFF with your dual core 2.0GHz in general???
bcuz i think that i am the only messin with my pc just to get good speeds in dolphin
:S
OC'd to 2.33
VPS on my pal games (if not sync with FPS) go from 40 heavy load > 60-70 average > 100 max.
FPS go from 25 heavy load > 45 avg > 70 max.

Framelimiters disabled.
Yeah, the video thread does have more CPU load than the core thread.
