Some progress today .

I found a version of dolphin 5474M , compiled by spellforce for D3D bloom offset , that , when started in 640*480 places the above water and below water things in the right spot in the intro sequence , and some later places. however , if the game is not started in 640*480 there is an offset again.

If the difference of what was done there can be isolated , this would constitute patch in making.

In the bottom picture you can see the screen edge issue on the left half (bottom) , and no screen edge issue on the right.

An important eyesore that still remains , and actually makes this build worse for playing , is the fact that it looks like half of the textures are done ok , and the other half shows our regular errors. see Pic 3 and 4.

Build in question , here: http://cid-9faae3caa4bf67bb.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/.Public/Dolphin
(5474x64mh3)

I have tested with exactly the same options a 5460 build and a 5926 build that were not patched for MH3 , they gave the usual offset error. I would have liked to have tested it with a regular 5474 build but couldn't find one.

some screenshots:

notice the reflection , the hump above water and the body below all being in the right spot.

Same here

Notice here , the water looks like it's split in 2 with a diagonal line , where everything in the top right part looks exactly fine (look at the bottom of the boat), and the bottom left looks bad.

Notice here , the same split at the texture join line , things to the right of it are in place , to the left they are off.

I am sure that the person that made the MH3 patch , can modify it in some way to fix EO2.
@ the person who made the MH3 patch that spellforce used to make the 5474x64mh3 mh3 patched version.

Would you please take some time to figure put why that particular patch partially fixes the Endless Ocean 2 texture offset problem.

Kind regards.
Phoenixxl.

The game has stopped working for me since rev6295 (last working revision) Huh
=> black screen directly at startup with absurd speed showings of 16000%

No matter if dx9, dx11 or opengl, must be something internal...
Anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks!
yes, the last working revision is r6295...
have you tried using JITIL?

Yes, doesn't work either...
alright, thx, I'll add it to my list then.
And r6295 is definately the last working revision? so it must have been r6296 that broke this game, right? (this info will help the devs fix it)
unfortunately I cannot find an r6296 build to test it (from r6295 it goes to r6298), but in my opinion it must be r6296 that broke the game (could also be r6297, although enabling or disabling progressive scan doesn't solve the problem)

Just tried r6296 and it works...so it must be r6297 responsable for the black screen.
