The adapter I've been using is an IOGear Bluetooth 2.1 USB Micro Adapter, GBU421WM, available at any Walmart for $20. It's worked fine since day one using the Microsoft Stack. Might try it out if nothing else works.
Tha-daaaa!
Finally, it works with my current bluetooth dongle. For some reason it did not pair with older dolphin versions. With never versions it works very well!

Not for me,
I have tried 2 new different bluetooths. One a d-link DBT-122 that theoretically should work, but nothing.
Im waiting for a new ORIGINAL wiimote, so I ll test it and let here know

Issue 1:
After restarting my computer, having been using Dolphin and the wiimotes successfully, I am left with the "nintendo rvl-cnt-01" in the MS BT devices list - 1 entry for each wiimote. However if I go into dolphin I cannot pair up my wiimotes any more.
Sometimes I will get an error in the system tray that the drivers failed to install (they shouldn't need to install since the devices are already connected), other times nothing will happen at all.
To fix this, I have to remove the devices from the BT stack, close dolphin, reopen dolphin, then pair up the wiimotes again one at a time. This usually works but sometimes I have to do this process 2 or 3 times before they are recognised in dolphin again.
Issue 1 still exists for me on Dolphin 3.0 - I almost envision some kind of utility to reset the Bluetooth... it is a pain to have to exit Dolphin.
