Hi,
I am having the same problem that lot of users posted here.
My computer:
HP touchsmart 600-1130
Intel Core duo
8GB RAM
Nvideo GForce G200
Windows 7 64 bits, Home Edition Premium
First I have used Microsoft Stack and Broadcom drivers (driver that goes with the integrated 3.0 bluetooth of my computer):
Wiimote pais perfectly, is visible all the time (doesent disapear like other users) and becomes gray after not using the wiimote for a while, then when pressing any button again appears as connected in devices.
Wiimote blue lights are ALWAYS bliking during and after the pairing process (the 4 lights)
When I go to Dolphin, I select Real wimmote and save it. Close dolphin and open it again. I see real wiimote selected (so saved) but ALWAYS "0 wiimotes connected). If I try REFRESH nothing happens. If I try "PAIR" dopling "thinks" for a while and nothing chages. Always 0 Wiimotes.
I have realized that if I uninstall the wiimote from Windows devices and I press PAIR in dolphin, it does the same as pairing it with windows... meaning, after pressing "PAIR" in dolphin the wiimote gets paired and appears on my devices windows, but at the end of the process ALWAYS I have the same result: "0 wiimotes connected"
I have tried to press 1+2 during PAIR process in Dolphin, 1+2 during REFRESH process, also A+B with both and nothing.
Bcos I saw in several post here and other forums that it could be bcos Windows stack, I have downloaded Toshiba Stack. I have installed and it does the same. It identifies wiimote, gets paired but Dolphin does not recognize it and always shows "0 wiimoted".
Bcos maybe it could be that my bluetooth is not compatible (strange, bcos it pairs perfectly...) I bought a good USB Bluetooth dongle (d-link). I have tried to use windows stack and Toshiba stack with it... Same result.
I have even tried a cheap SBM bluetooth dongle that uses Bluesoleil. It also finds the wiimote, gets paired but in Dolphin always "0 wiimotes".
WHAT CAN I DO?
Does someone has any solution??
Thanks

That's a little strange. If it pairs correctly inside Dolphin, the four lights should stop blinking, and it should just be one solid light under the "1", indicating the it's set to controller #1. Yes, it will always say "0 wiimotes connected" if you exit dolphin, you have to re-pair the controller every single time you start the program. Hitting "refresh" before the controller is paired will do nothing. I would suggest just starting from scratch. Uninstall the bluetooth dongle, everything. Plug it in, let it install, then try to pair the wiimote. No, it's not a problem with Windows 7 stack, I've been using it since day 1, and it's never been a problem. It's either your bluetooth adapter, or your drivers are screwed up.
I have tried already to reinstall everything: I have deleted all bluetooth drivers, deleted all compatible HID devices from "My system", re-installed the latest driver from Hp for my bluetooth.
I know (bcos I saw it so many times) that at some moment the wiimote should have to buzz and one of the bluelights should have to stay and the other stop blinking but this NEVER happend to me.
It is vey strange bcos having the wiimote correctly pair on my devides no other programs (smoothboard, wiimotedetect etc) can detect the wiimote.
I have tried to close and open Dolphin, pair, refresh and all the variants... and of course I press refresh AFTER the wiimote is totally installed and visible on my devices..
Other ideas?
I will try anyway to unistall and reinstall everything...
My wiimote is not original. It could be that?

Hi,
I have totally uninstall all drivers and all devices.
I have installed everything from 0 and still the same result.
For more info, my bluetooth adapter uses Broadcom (I think same as Widcome) Stack, and model is Broadcom BCM 2070.
Windows has no drivers for this model so I can not use only microsoft stack..

I'm having some problems too, as I pointe earlier. Is your wiimote nintendo or third part?
I have third part wiimote, don't know if that's the problem or my bluetooth dongle. Or the drivers. I can connect with bluesoleil or toshiba stack, but everytime I connect to HID device, all the lights from my wiimote shuts down, even thou when I check in dolphin it says 1 connected. After few secs HID disconnects...
Yes I have chiness copy of wiimote, maybe thats the reason?
I bought recently an original one from Nintendo in ebay. When I will get it I will test it and let here know..

I can't say for certain wether using a 3rd party version of the controller is the direct cause, but it probably doesn't help matters. You should always use original, Nintendo controllers, as they are of the highest quality. Instead of installing the Bluetooth from HP, why don't you try installing it using Windows update instead? I also use Broadcom 2046 + 2.1 EDR for my dongle, it was just a simple $20 mini-blueooth dongle I picked up at Walmart. Let's see how the original one works first.
Hi,
Could you explain me how I "installing it using Windows update instead?" ?
If I uninstall the Bluetooth, is automatically re-installed by Windows..
I have also tried to install a second USB Bluetooth Dongle (As I wrote before) but with the same result. I have tried to use this second USB dongle with Blusoleil and Toshiba Stack, and both do the same: they find the wiimote, but then in Dolphin it doesent work (the 4 leds blik and no pair at all, always 0 wiimoted connected"
I ll appreciate any extra info about your idea
Thanks

Hey I think I might be on the right tracks now, check what I found:
http://wiibrew.org/wiki/List_of_Working_Bluetooth_Devices
Just noticed that my bluetooth dongle is there in non working devices heehee! You guys who use microsoft stack, and maybe x64 OS, could you do me/us a favor and post your bluetooth dongle?
