May you give some more info on this?
"Not 100% compliant, but compatible with PCs." (e.g. Wiimote power off/ re-pair mechanism unsupported)

Only cuz it's not fully bt compliant doesn't mean it wont work with a pc, huge difference.
Hello!
I've got exactly the same problem like fraggermcg. My Wiimote rumbles when i go to the wiimote plugin. so it seems to be paired. I choose real wiimote as input source. One led is illuminated after i close the plugin. But when i start a game it doesnt recognise any button and in the bottom right of the main screen is the message "connecting..."
I've tried to pause the game and disconnected and connected the wiimote in the tools-menu, but this dont seems to make any difference.
the weird thing is yesterday everything worked well. but since ive installed the bluesoleil bluetooth software ive got those problems... i allready deinstalled it. but the problem is still there
here my specs:
Windows 7 Professional x64
AMD Phenom 9850 @ 2.9GHz
3Gb Ram
Asus M2N32SLI Deluxe
Dolphin SVN R 5037
bluetooth stick that comes with the Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 5000 Laser - But it uses MS Bluetooth stack i think
all the older builds of dolphin got the same problem. but they allready worked well.
it would be great if anybody can help to solve this problem.

Ive managed to get my wiimote working again

I just got the batteries out of the wiimote for several minutes and after that everything worked again...
maybe this can help anybody else...

I have one problem:
When i pair wiimote with pc and open wiimote config in dolphin, it freezes for few seconds before opening window. After that sometimes controller rumbles, sometimes not, but dolphin shows wiimote as connected in wiimote config. But when i open any game it is not detected.
When you've got the game running, does dolphin say "connecting..." in the bottom right of the main panel? If so that's the same problem I mentioned earlier in this thread.
It says "Wiimote connect" and then is cut off by window frame. When i increase window, it increases left side of status bar instead of rigth so i cant see if it says connecting or connected.
EDIT: i think it says wiimote connected because "connecting" is without wiimote word. I tried to register 2 WiiMotes:
1. remove all wiimotes from bluetooth devices
2. pair both wiimotes one by one
3. when starting game in dolphin only one controller have ligth at button.
And of course same as 1 wiimote, no response from controller.
EDIT2: if i leave game open for a while, it will give message about system disconnected controller and if i want to reconnect. No matter what i choose, controller stays inresponsive and ligth 1 keeps glowing.
+1
same problem, everything seems ok but in game nothing works. When i press esc, dolphin crashes all times!
My problems started when i plugged in nunchuck.
I started wii sports, selected boxing and plugged in nunchuck when it asked to. At that moment wiimote stopped responding and i cant get any wiimote to work (i have 3 of them).
EDIT:
I found that this problem is completely dolphin and not MS bluetooth stack problem.
If you open recording panel, you see that dolphin is sucessfuly getting wiimote signals, because bars are moving way you move wiimote.
I guess there is something wrong with wiimote plugin PLEASE DEV TEAM MAKE THAT TOP PRIORITY AND FIX THAT
Just created issue.

Please post comments under issue if you have same problems. We need to tell developers that many people have that problems.
I just found that unresponsivenes in games was caused by 3rd party wiimote.
I solved both that and other problem listed in that thread by installing blue soleil. Now it works AWESOME. No freezes, errors, etc. Just problem is that blue soleil is not free and trial mode shuts bluetooth down after few minutes of playing.
With blue soleil, do you find you still have to pair up the wiimotes each time you run dolphin after restarting your computer, or does it remember they are connected and you just have to hit refresh and you're good to go?
For me the biggest problem with dolphin at the moment is that every time I want to use it, it takes 5-10 mins fiddling around with the MS BT stack and/or dolphin's wiimote plugin before I've got everything connected and working.
Sometimes yes, sometimes not. But with blue soleil is pairing really fast and easy, i can pair 2 wiimotes in less than a minute.
But if you close dolphin and reopen it again without restarting pc, you dont have to repair them
