have you even tried re-dumping? XD
You need a much more stronger CPU, or better, a Desktop with a Core i5-3570k Cool

(09-14-2012, 11:26 PM)DefenderX Wrote: [ -> ]LOL nope. The best for F-Zero GX is a high end desktop CPU from Intel (e.g. Core i5-2500k, Core i5-3570k, Core i7-2600k, Core i7-3770k)

Accurate VBeam emulation makes a real miracle in this game. Also game is way more stable with dual core now. It still can crash sometimes but using quick saves after each race isn't much of a problem, right ? It runs for me at 70-100% speed with single core and at runs like a horse after a hornet's bite with dual core.

Hashless build will make things even prettier due to a HUGE EFB to RAM speed boost - it runs full speed with every gfx setting maxed out at 2048x1536 resolution for me.

And 5 fps means there's something is terribly wrong with his PC or settings, game ran way faster with A64-3500+ and GF6600GT for me.

Good lookin' on that Shadow. What specific build are you using?
so nobody find a solution with fraps ...
Yep.avi

I belive you mean nope.avi :p

Could be either imo. Yep.avi for "yes, you are correct, no one has found a solution to FRAPS" or nope.avi for "no, no one has found a solution to FRAPs yet". Because, you know, English is always pretty straight forward and clear :p

Anyway, have you tried other recording software, Dolphinlover? I remember experimenting with VLC (yes, it will record your desktop, strangely enough) bu it was a bit finicky. Haven't dumped this game yet, but I'm in the process of doing another batch of GC games (this game being one of them). I'll let you know if I can record it using something else.

i tried with fraps and dxtory (this one with differents codecs) and it always crash after 15 or 20 seconds
an other guy reports on the wiki the same problem when recording with xfire

the only solution i ve found is to disable "dual core" but after that the game runs @ 45fps with fps drop @ ~30fps, too slow to make a good video with the real speed of the game

on the other games, i ve no problem to make videos http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLW0csjZEUbb6ne6BZY_HyUur0nKGBnbht&feature=view_all
Maybe a Dev should look at this problem... Sounds pretty strange.

btw: And yes, it's normal, that you'll get slowdowns, if you disable Dual Core Big Grin

Yes but how ?

And yes it's very strange. 3 differents software, 2 different builds and the same problem.
But i ve found that the conflict is probably due to the "dual core" feature.
