HI everyone i read all post but didn't find any help i have a brand news computer i7-3770k a 690gtx 16go of memory but the game won't run correctly on dolphin it's like 5 fps on the menu selection, in game it run 14-25fps :/
CyberDjay, I think you have hit the 690gtx bug. It is not waking up out of low power mode. There is a setting in the nvidia control panel that forces the video card in high power mode. Try that.
Also, make sure you do not have interpreter mode enabled in Dolphin.
Hi All,
I've been following these forums and trying to get FZERO to run at acceptable speeds for the past few days, but grand prix wont go past... 20fps.
Gear:
Asus G55 - NVIDIA GTX660M - Intel Ivy bridge 3610 2.3 - 8GB Ram
I have the PAL version of the game, checked always the correct settings compared to this forum, and still not working even at 30 fps...
Any ideas? I LOVE FZero

Your CPU is not strong enough. F Zero GX is a really demanding game.

Huh? You mean single core pentium 4 is better for GX than i7 Ivy Bridge? :S
LOL nope. The best for F-Zero GX is a high end desktop CPU from Intel (e.g. Core i5-2500k, Core i5-3570k, Core i7-2600k, Core i7-3770k)

So basically I can run Crysis 2 at 60fps but not FZERO GX just for a 1ghz difference with a desktop cpu?
T_T

You can't compare games made for PC and emulated games.
Try SMG2 with a 3GHz processor (at stock) and with an overclocked processor to 4GHz (or more) and you'll see the difference
