Try r6205 with DX9 plugin and efb to ram, this version is the most efficient and stable that I tested, then emergence of micro stutters since version r6206.

Is there anywhere I can get a save file for F-Zero? I've completed this game many times on the Gamecube, but that was a number of years ago, and I don't have the patience to do it again.
Has anyone managed to find a way of using someone elses save yet? Importing works fine, but when you run the game it says the memory card is corrupted. I've tried fixing checksum, that doesn't help. I've googled this to hell and I'm really hoping somebody has the magic answer. I wanna play with everything unlocked!

Maybe this : Either you imported a whole MC and he didn't like that so you might try to import a single savefile. Either your savefile might be from a different zone (PAL/NTSC)
I tried an EU and USA save on a PAL copy. I've managed to get around it now by using an NTSC iso, and unlike the PAL version, the AR cheats actually work. So I've unlocked things that way.
@Sikph:
Keep in mind that older revisions of Dolphin had the "Set As J-NTSC" by default (without a checkbox to set it). Later on, when the checkbox was added (and unticked by default), if you tried to load an mc file created in an older revision, your newer revision Dolphin wouldn't read it (saying it is corrupted) unless the checkbox is ticked. The checkbox is harmless (as far as I'm concerned) so I tick it every time I download a new revision.
Hope it helps.

Yep, the NTSC version crashes before the title screen shows up, and dual core is disabled, using Lectrode's 3.0-370-g31ff190 x64 build. Does only the much slower PAL version work or what?
Hi all! im trying to run this on my pc, but im wondering what's the best full config?
I have an i7 920 with an amd hd 6970 with 6GB of ram....
I'm so excited and happy about being able to get this game 100% full speed at all times during gameplay that I just had to share my excitement and settings! Funnily enough, the only time I get slowdown is during the vehicle select screen and the countdown of any Mute City track. As soon as the narrator says "GO!" the game jumps to full speed and never even sweats. It's incredible at 1080p with 9xaa!
I'm using the PAL version of the game, and you can select 60 hz mode right at the startup of the game, so don't fear about slowdowns with using PAL. I experienced much better stability with the PAL version, I can even enable Dual Core with it.
Using Lectrode's Dolphin-3.0-432-gee09def_x64 build, here's the images I took with all the settings you should need:

I'm running Dolphin on a Core i5 2500k overclocked to 4.5 ghz with a Radeon HD 6950 1gb OC. As I said, during any race on any course, even Sand Ocean, I am able to play 100% speed. The most important setting is to "Skip EFB Access from CPU". When this option is checked I saw immense speed gains. This is exciting to me because not even a few months ago I was extremely sad that I couldn't experience my favorite GC game of all-time in HD. This game is WAY ahead of its time and is unmatched on so many levels. No racing game has ever even come close!
I hope these settings work for anyone who runs across this post. I just wanted to share my joy and excitement with you guys! Hopefully others can experience the happiness that I'm having with this game right now.
