I'm currently running an oc'ed i7 2600k @ 4.5ghz. I can run almost every game at 1080p with AA at 60fps, however no matter what settings or graphics mode I try I cannot get this above 45fps. I've looked at the wiki and searched a number of sites can't figure out why I can't get 60fps. Any ideas!?
Use 3.0.
Newer releases got lower framerates and graphical glitches.
I am mate, no glitches just poor framerates-tried rev 3 and 7860, still frame rates around 40ish. Weird.

I am mate. I even tried ver. 7870 still no dice. Weird as I have a similar setup to you inc. the same gpu. What settings are you using?
I'm on 3.0 mate, I even tried 7680 and some earlier revision and same issues

Weird.
What config are you running as I have a very similar rig to you mate?
> Dolphin downs after it.
Solved.
I renamed GFZE01.ini to GFZJ01.ini
Thank you!
F-ZERO GX say save data crashed...
Save data and Garage data are extracted from real machine.
F-ZERO AX data are also included, I'm in trouble.
Can you help me?

Use 3.0 and use DX9 plugin to be able to use Dual Core and the experimental recompiler to prevent crashes.

Nope, that's not a bug. You DOWNLOADED a bad dump, pirate.
Hello all.
After recently acquiring a laptop with the following specs.
3.2 Core I5 turbo
Nvidia Gt 540m
4Gb
Windows 7
I'm now in search to find some way to get the best performance from what could probably be my favourite game for the Gamecube (F-Zero Gx).
Is there anyway to get better performance.
I'm currently running on the latest revision of Dolphin posted in the downloads section.
There is also the problem of blocky shadow underneath the vehicle themselves - Any suggestions?
Please advise.
Advice or information on what to alter or download to help boost performance would be very appreciated.
Hello - Thanks for the response.
I'm currently using the very latest 3.0 revision from the downloads section.
Shadows have now been fixed and performance is slightly better but still not fantastic.
Currently I'm using Direct 3D9
Display 166x768
Aspect Ratio: Auto (Use full screen)
Internal Resolution: Auto
Anti Aliasing OFF
Anisotropic Flitering - 1X
Scaled EFB Copy On
Ignore Format Changes
EFP Copes - Texture Selected
External Frame Buffer - Disabled
Fast Mipmaps
Disable Per-Pixel Depth
Is there anything I can do or are there any upcoming releases to improve performance.

enable dual core is turned off by default when running f-zero. so select the f-zero iso, right click on it and select "properties". turn on dual core. the game runs much smoother now. to prevent crashes turn off vsync and set the frame limit to 60 fps. i get almost 60 fps all the time (have some frame drops especially in sand ocean). playing @1080p and 2xnative resolution.
