Thanks, i Test it. F-Zero I come.^^

EDIT:

Tested (r6200) but dont helps much. F-zero get some Grafik glitchs (in r6784 don“t) and still Sound Stuttering (but better results as in r6784). After few minutes Playing the game slows down (r6200 dont test this effekt in r6784).

But thanks for help, eventually a new Version will fix the Problem, keep up your good Work.
Anyone tried playing F-ZeroGX on a Sandy Bridge processor? What are your speeds? I have been reading about how fantastic this processor is and how it significantly improves speed for a lot of emulators.
On a stock Sandy Bridge i7 2600K (3.4Ghz), I am getting 125fps (250% speed) during the race.
holy shit ahahah

WOW skid....OK questions questions questions.....

1)Is this on the *LATEST* SVN builds? Or an earlier one? Please tell us which build this is on, and if it's on a latest build, whether or not these FIFO changes have been applied to help with speed.

2)How is that possible, when my Core i7 950 is OC'ed to 4.0Ghz, and your clockspeed is only 3.4Ghz? I get about 60fps in most places, but there are tracks such as Sand Ocean and Big Blue it slows to a crawl hovering around 10fps. Is the architecture in SB THAT much more refined and improved than the previous generation Core i7 9xx series?

3)What res are you running in?

4)What are your Anti Alaising and Anisotropic filter settings at?

5)What video card do you have?

6)What CPU *did* you have, and what kind is FPS were you getting before Sandy Bridge?

This is on r6981 with the FIFO changes already applied, so that the game is fast.

You should be getting more than 60fps. Do you have the framelimiter or audio throttle enabled? My Core2 Duo at 3.63Ghz could get 62fps.

I forgot that Sandy Bridge has a turbo, so the CPU may have been clocked at 3.6Ghz, not 3.4Ghz. Also I am running it in DX9 with EFB to texture and DSP HLE.

(01-30-2011, 04:34 PM)isamu Wrote: [ -> ]3)What res are you running in?

I am running it in a window on native resolution (efb scale 1x).

(01-30-2011, 04:34 PM)isamu Wrote: [ -> ]4)What are your Anti Alaising and Anisotropic filter settings at?

None.

(01-30-2011, 04:34 PM)isamu Wrote: [ -> ]5)What video card do you have?

ATI 4870 1GB.

AA/AF = None.

lol no WONDER Tongue At those settings my fps is higher as well. But I admit I have not tried that particular svn build so I'll give it a shot and see where I'm at. At native res we're talking 480p no? Game looks so much better at 1280x720.

Still....I'm told that Sandy Bridge is freakin' KILLER! Need to save up for a 2600k and OC that bitch to 5.0Ghz Cool
my bro says that sandy bridge is a buget socket and that I should wait for the successor to i7 instead.
your mom says that.
