Oh man, alot of people answering when they don't know anything...

- The *nix builds are currently broken. Nobody will fix them. Sad
- It will run on Wine (or the shareware Crossover), but slowly.
- You compile the Mac builds the exact same way as the Linux builds. Just make sure you have the dependencies.
I doubt there are 3 macs on the planet that can even run dolphin on any game with more than 20fps... Tongue
if it wasnt for the are no good games that runs on mac i will change from windows lol

As for compatibility, Mac OS X is built on top of a UNIX base so there's plenty of software available for it.
I would agree with anyone saying that they are overpriced for the hardware but I believe that it's the well thought out and beautiful design that you pay for as well as the excellant customer support and the experience with the Apple stores.
this is it mac weakness game compatibility
Mac Build should actually work, but I'd not recommend the OS X Version for now. Seems like the devs don't focus on it for now. But nice to see its an option.

BTW for you "mac dont like gaming" haters: Install Windows on a Mac, and youre perfectly ok. Technically, the OS X Build *could* even run faster than the windows build - when optimizations for mac os x are implemented.
I don't hate the mac os, but they're ridiculously overpriced.
They are not really overpriced. Expensive, yes. But you get the quality.
There are some comparisions on the web (google "mac pc price comparison") like this: www.computerworld.com

Anyway, I can play on Windows but i'd like to see the Mac OS as a first-class supported OS in Dolphin.
Ok guys, really you can say "well its not THAT bad" but here is what i think:
1- We have allready established, macs cant play games, they have no room in the heart of dolphin devs ^^
2- Their hardware SUCKS so that ruins the whole mac right there
3- Mac hardware is overpriced
4- You cant say its all in the asthetics because it is white plastic -.- other computers have way cooler cases
5- People who buy macs are kind of dumb... I'm not saying all but some are... case and point here, they cant find a smart one for their ad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2-UuIEOcss
