If you get this working perfectly you mind posting your settings and system specs?
I would not mind at all, good sir. Let me tweak with the settings and I will post my findings within the hour.
Okay guys, here are my findings so far.
I'm running Orleans' SVN 4986 as recommended by a few board members here.
Important stuff: I'm not done tweaking with all the settings, but in this current set up, I get a solid 50 to mostly 60 fps with minor slowdowns and hiccups.
DX9 Settings:
Direct3D:
Disable all settings here.
Enhancements:
EFC Scaled Copy
Advanced:
Enable to EFB Copy: To Texture
As I said, this is what I have so far, I need to mess around with it more. I'm messing with putting the frame limit from Auto to 120 and see how things go. Right now I'm on Auto and it seems to run just fine with a few slowdowns. Will post soon.
EDIT: Ah, and my system specs.
CPU: AMD Phenom 9750 Quad-Core @ 2.4 GHz
RAM: 8 GB
OS: Win 7 Professional 64-bit
GPU: Sapphire ATI Radeon 4870 w/ Toxic Cooler
Those settings actually work great on my system
AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE
4 gigs ram
GTX 295
Windows 7 64 bit
I just cant for the life of me get my 360 to work with it
I mean, it USED to, I just dunno how to enable it again
EDIT- Screw it, I just DLed the newest version from Marioman and I used MrGays settings, not only does it work 99% (a touch of stutter here and there)perfect but it recognized my 360 controller no problem!
I noticed if you dont put the frame limiter on auto it works a lot better

yes, I also noticed that it feels sluggish using the jitIL recompiler, at least to me.
Seems like we're getting somewhere guys, althought I can't disable jitIL recompiler, just change the selection between the experimental and interpreter. What revision are you using?
I was messing with settings, seems like the more I add stuff besides my original setting, the stupider it gets, so I'm sticking with that. and you're right robcat, frame limiter to 120 makes it work fine, the menu runs 40 fps instead of 30 and ingame it works fine. with auto, menus are 30 fps but the game runs pretty okay there, too.
I have an interview now, but I'll test more when I get home. I'm excited, we're almost there, guys!

I got some pretty good results today, the best I've gotten but I'm getting the feeling my system just isn't powerful enough to run the game at 100%. The game was running between 100%-130% with VPS at 60 and FPS 40-50 with a few hiccups here and there. Definitely the smoothest it's run.

What revision are you exactly using from marioman, he released 5 as of this morning, lmao. Also, what settings do you have in General config?

What are your system specs so we can compare and contrast things here?
