I'm also havin some problems with a bit of hiccuping in D3D. Open GL runs ok, but looks blech compaired.
Usually it only happens on new characters, first hits, and first super's of the match, sometimes it happens for 1st super per character. Aside from that, i get 50-60fps. I've tried the posted config, and still gettin the hiccups.
Using an intel 8500 3.16, 4gig mem, 275 nvidia.
The same hiccups have been present in the Japanese version nearly a year now. I'm not sure we're getting rid of them anytime soon.
Hi all, im new
nice to meet you all hehe
This is basicaly the only reason i want to get this.

I WANT THIS GAME
anyway
i installed the prepackaged version from another website that i got the address from this forum (dunno if i can name it)
i have SVN R 4978
I tried putting my configs like on the first page of this thread and when i boot im stuck at a yellow screen with nothing.
I config my wiimote to emulate a classic controller. If i press A or B i hear sounds. I can also scroll up and down but im not sure if its the game's sound or something else.
I installed the 2 package from the GETTING STARTED thread. (update directx and the c++)
My computer is fast enough so im just wondering what might be the problem.
Bad graphic card?
THX!
Nm i got it.
It was just out of date graphic drivers at work ._.
im sorry and thx all!
now to fix the LOW FPS!
"hiccuping in D3D" (and for me even in ogl) is because shaders are generated/compiled at that time...
and only d3d has disk shader cache implemented (cache will stay after you end game and is used next time you start it), so after some time of playing it there should be less "hiccups"
same thing is happening for f-zero (but there is even worse)
Seems i cant run it faster in-game than 10 FPS at work.
How do i set it to the lowest settings possible? or what would be the setting to make it run the fastest.
here's my config
geforce 6800
p4 3.2ghz
2gb ram
Win XP SP 2
thx everyone
Pentium 4.... *thumbs down*

lol yeah. thx anyway i tried frameskipping, turning on most options and sound off but nothing is gonna run on this crap

ill wait till im home and play on a real PC

but still (well on build 4965)
if i run it at full screen from start, improves a lot, but they will eventually show up
i'll try later with 4953
=d
-------edit
Just did some more testing
4953 go me sortta slow perf. (30 fps even in 848x480) and still hiccups
but
in 4965 i got performance to improve to 60 fps @ in game and menus+ solved 99% of hiccups (i only got one hiccup for 4 fights) by disabling "enable idle skipping"
With enable idle skipping on i would get 30fps on menus (any res.) and 30-35 at @1920x1080
ps: since i don't have it at signature, runnin i5 750 + 4 gb ram + hd4770
I was capped at 30fps as well then i switched enable EFB copy to
TEXTURE then fps went up to 60.
Anyone unlocked everything yet... i would appreciate the save game ;P
the game runs well for me but only in windows mode, cuz when i play it on full screnn the framerate drops to 30 fps, also the controls are all messed up, z button acts as b and b acts as all butons pressed, someone have this issue? (i tryed with smash brawl and the buttons are fine, also the full screen framerate)
Hi, new here and to dolphin and loving it!
I need some help....been trying to run this game at 60fps in fighting but the closest ive ever come is around 43fps. The game starts out at 60 nd then drops while selecting characters and in fighting, The revision which worked best in stability without any lag at all just the fps drop problem was 4966 by mamario.
Can someone point me in the direction of a revision and please tell me exactly what settings to put...my specs are in my sig, and there not that bad so im pretty sure i should be getting higher fps.
thanks a lot!
