Hi there,

here are my experiences with the PAL EU version and r6211-x64 build:

the game works almost flawless.

But it crashes constantly when trying to play US Open or Australian Open.
It crashes only during the introduction of the players. Doing a practice session (with Ball machine) at the US open or Australian open works fine.

I think its the blur/bloom transparency filter applied there (during player introduction) that lets dolphin crash. I tried several older builds down to r4xxx, they all crash under those conditions.

directx9 settings:

Enable CPU->EFB access

Use safe texture cache - safe

Enable EFB copy - To RAM (accuracy)
(That option is necessary to create a custom character snapshot that is used as your player picture. After you created your player you can switch to "Enable EFB copy - To texture (performance, resolution)" this gives better performance if your machine is struggling. If you change outfit or apperance of your character switch "To RAM (accuracy)" to make that snapshot work.)

General settings:

Enable Dual Core
Enable Idle Skipping
Frame Limit - Auto
Use EuRGB60 Mode (PAL60) - disabled
(i am running the PAL version with constantly 25 fps during gameplay)

My rig:
i5 750
ATI Radeon HD 5770
Win 7 64bit

I couldn't find a fix to that problem, not even under software interpreter. Also if selecting some courts it will hang with various error messages or "opcode not implemented" etc

The game seems to be far from perfect currently,

could you tell wich courts create that error? so i can check if i can reproduce that.

with rev 6175 everything works fine for me... expect that i need to have fast texture cache to run at 25-30 fps (the minimum to have fun).
In safe texture cache, characters are wrong, but it's easy to understand where i'm in the game...
Hi,

I have the same problem with US open only (Australian open Okay for some reason). I tested revs 6176, 6215 and 6252.
To make the game work I had to switch the watermark up to 500.

Does anyone have any idea at all at how to fix this ?

Thanks !
Hey,

I just tried version 6175 : same problem with US Open... Cyp35, what are your options ?

Thanks
Just to complete a little bit : the trouble arises only on the courts other than court n°9.

My last message in the dolphon log window is : "45.20.281. \SRC\FileMonitor.app:109N[Filemon] : 10.149 KB data/rev/bigs/fecro_big.ast

FPS turn to 0, VPS around 650 and SPEED aroud 1100 %
how does motion plus work with this game??
does motion plus allow you to play the game accurately without losing calibration etc?
Does this game work any better on Dolphin yet? Also, can the game be played WITHOUT the waggle wand gimmickry? (Last time I tried it it was glitchy and slow, and the controls were seemingly impossible to configure to a traditional control pad to boot).

If the answer to the latter is 'no', then you can disregard the first question.

It still glitches out at many stages and parts of the game, I'd play it on the wii atm if I were you.
