As I wrote in my previous post, I followed xat's instructions, but now as I was browsing through the thread I thought that what FriedZombie wrote could be related to my problem. Smile Sorry if I was a bit confusing.

EDIT: Why is it that once I copied either the small or the big font ghost list files to the Hide/Item data folder, later I also have to copy the item files to the same folder overwriting some of the font files? Could this be the source of the problem?

Try with BigFontGhostList. I used this patch a long time ago so I don't remember everything but it should work just fine using xat's guide step by step. I'll re-do it and I'll write a small add-on guide (if it's really needed) as soon as I get time Smile

That's exactly what I did just now and it's working, thank you! Smile

I wonder why only the big fonts are working for me, but who knows... I also used this patch sometime ago but I can't remember which I picked back then.

I guess my current problem is related to this line. I followed xat's instructions and chose small font, but now I have this ingame:

Can anyone tell me what's causing this, what have I done wrong? No, I'm pretty sure I only extracted the small fonts, yet it looks like there are small and big fonts on top of each other.

Glad you found my posts helpful, I can't tell you how long I slaved over getting this thing to work.

As a side note does anyone notice a small box around the majority of the text in game? It's by far nothing too seriously detracting just curious if it was common with both small and large text.
The english patch works great but I can't see my saved photos when the mission completes and goes to the save screen the screenshots are just pitch black, any fix for this graphical error/glitch?

Set EFB Copies to RAM
Ah, I got the same problem, I changed the setting and it works well, thank you Smile

I wonder if there is a way to get better synchronized sounds because it seems to be the part were the emulator has the most problems with the game.

Graphically, I got relatively constant performance around 30 fps sometime dropping down to 23 but that is acceptable. I found the better settings for me right now is 720p, fullscreem, AA and ANI 16x, Texture filtering. Most of the time the sound ins correcte, some other not. I'm always Open GL, but I wonder if Direct X11 could do the right thing. Maybe I should try.

Sometime, it's easy to forget that we are emulating a game because it runs so well.

I did the test with a newest revision and the improved speed is awesome with Fatal Frame 4. Everything runs more in sync now.
Any tip on playing the piano sequence in chapter 12 ?

Those notes must be done so fast. I hate the piano part, even with the mouse. You can't make mistake without have to fight a certain someone.

I finally put the game in OpenGL to slow the game and I managed it. This was so hard. Now I must play at the other difficulties Smile

I just set the emulation to directx 9 and I can't believe that all my visual bugs are gone and it's running at good speed. Only the LLE seems to bug now. But as I remember my first play throught it was enjoyable to play it with HLE.

I thought that Zero 4 was looking great, and it does, but Zero 2 Wii edition is even looking better. It's much more demanding to my hardware too, at least the LLE is running much better there.

That game is so cool, I love it, thank you very much all the Dolphin programmers because it's looking much better then on my WII.
