People on the codes.google.com pages said the revisions of 5120+ actually run slower for them with some games.

I just hope the whole SSE addition in the regular revisions doesn't cause a conflict with spellforce's releases.
i wish i could test the speed difference but my processor doesn't support SSSE3+
5115 is very good for now. We better wait till we're sure what changes the new stuff bring.

EDIT: I just saw it's reverted for now in the main, and moved to another branch.
Your build runs awesome. Compared to mamarios build: SSBBM gets 25-32 fps with 4 people on screen, your build gets 51 fps at all times (pal version, same map, same characters AI).
Sry im noob with this what SSE my cpu supports...

see the pic

Edit:

Nvm, i figured it out, however i see no speedup, 1-2 fps maybe.

Well, I guessed he used the SSE3 build. And a couple of fps isn't bad at all !
The new Safe Texture options are really good :-D
Yeah. I wonder though, if the Safe Texture still prevents Level 4-3 from crashing in Super Mario Bros (Wii), when it's set to Fast mode.
From what I was reading on codes.google.com, quite a few users gained a nice performance boost compared to the default Safe Texture Caching when it was set to Fast.

Will test this.
