well, I would've prefered sse4.2, but I'll test anyways.
Tested. Not really a fair comparsion, but I think it'll do. 5081 x64 sse4.2 gets about 99fps. 5108 ssse3 x64 with patch does about 100fps. Vps is same in both. I'd say that my results are within margin of error. If it was sse4.2 with the patch, then there may have been a more tangible benefit. Thanks for compiling though. Seems to help mario kart wii by 2-3 fps.
I don't know what wrong of the newer svn,but it seems can't change the resolution in Opengl with 510x vestion.

There is one game that has a serious drop in performance though, Super Mario Galaxy. About 10 fps less using the same builds as above (in the observatory and other places).
does this use the speedup patch?
