I'm looking into getting this amazing laptop under a $1000 but I was wondering if it will be able to run dolphin at consistently playable speeds.

It has the low voltage CPU but a very good graphics card and can play modern games on very high settings at 30FPS which is pretty amazing. But emulators don't exactly translate well from actual PC games so I was wondering if anyone has had experience with similar specs before.

You can do better. First it doesn't tell you the processor and the GPU GT335M is crap, it only has 48 core shaders/stream processors, that is equivalent of desktop Nvidia 220 GT, which is absolute garbage. If you plan on gaming, get a laptop with a Nvidia 260M.
