The device is made for voltages between 4.8(4x1.2V) and 6V(4x.1.5V), remember u can use rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries, everything in between shouldn't matter.
Yes i have an Acer 8930G. It s a decent laptop system, most games run good. Super Mario Galaxy doesn't run that perfect tho under 720p, but hey come on a lot of ppl cant run SMG perfect, even 3.4ghz quad core users - some lvls are just less good than others framewise. However Mario kart runs for me pretty close to fullspeed @720p.
If more ppl should be interested on that sensorbar modification i would make a step by step manual, although it's no big deal really, even the most untalented person could do it in a few minutes trust meWink
Ok you guys are really unclear about how to do this.. I just read it and nobody actually really said how to make 2 wiimotes work.

so do i enable 2 wiimotes, in wiimote config? before i start the game?

If i do this my game will say disconnected. and hen ill have to restart the program over, so this won't work unless i'm doing something wrong.

if I enable 1 then go to "tools" enable 2nd wiimote in game, the 1st wiimote works perfect and the second one has full blue bars and does absolutly nothing. The first wimote when connected goes to 1 bar just an fyi. So what am i missing?

Wiimote has 4 tabs. You didn't pick 'real wiimote' in 2nd tab if the controller still has blue bars. Also, it must say '2 real wiimotes connected'.
Yah you right but, what im saying is as soon as i enable 2 wiiremotes enter the game it says

one wiiremote has disconnected

I re-enable

says it agian and both remotes are screwed. I have to restart the game.

I deleted the config file already, but I'm not sure whats wrong.. maybe the version difference. I'm currently using mamario 5037 build.

Unless I'm missing something here.. my controllers are recognised by the same name does that matter? (it shouldn't since the mac is different, unless this program might not read the mac i don't have a clue..)

I can get player 1 light on 1 controller and player 2 light on the other but when a launch game its disconnect disconnect both controller are messed and have to kill the process... how are you guys doing this? please help.

P.s It does say 2 wiimoes detected.
Multiple wiimotes is working fine for me. Sometimes i have to do couple of Alt+F5 to wake up first remote, but ususally its working great.
What build and what games are yu playing 2 player? If they have any addons to play to player can you please list them as well.
NSMB, Wii Sports, Smash Bros etc. basically any game that supports multiplayer is working fine.

What do you mean by addons? I have nunchuck connected, but it also works without them.
Is anyone having problems with 3 wiimotes?

Sometimes when i connect 3 wiimotes and try to open wiimote settings, it throws me system service exception blue screen.

Same problem here..
But, with 2 wiimotes.
So, what's the current limit on the number of wii motes? I've never heard of anyone that tried to use 4 wii motes with dolphin, although I've heard of people using 2 wiimotes + one 360 controler + keyboard.
