Tools--> Connect wiimote 2
01-17-2010, 12:10 AM
*g* thanks, but did you even read the thread? I get them connected now an' all, the only problem left is: when two wiimotes are paired up, and I go ingame, the first wiimote has an obvious delay (about 1-2 seconds). This ends when I connect the other wiimote, so it's not such a big deal...it's a strange issue, though

Is this a reported issue?
But as long as it works, that's good.

I don't know if it's in the issue database, yet.

Well, I told people about that on irc, so I don't really know :/ (I don't have any access to dev channel)

oh well...I devs they heard about it here or there...or they noticed it themselves...or is there no dev with two real wiimotes?

wuaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, this is driving me insane...tell me, was there anything in the last few days that changed the wiimote behaviour? Cuz just when I wanted to play with my gf now, it doesn't work of course...both wiimotes don't work, or both work but one with delayed input, or I have to press Alt+F5 a thousand times...then that "reconnect?"-window comes up (which I can only confirm if not playing fullscreen -_- ...etc...something's still not right in the multiple wiimote code, that's for sure. especially, it all seems to be so random...sometimes it works, sometimes not...*roll eyes*
Ooooooh well...guess we'll have to play something else then :>

hm...how big are the chances that this has something to do with Orleans builds? O_o
I used his build yesterday, just because it was up so fast *g* ...and I had all those problems.
Now I used mamario's build and it's fine (except for the delay of player 1 until player 2 gets connected, but I can live with that)

I've tried two completely different builds, same result. When I'm lucky I can connect two wiimotes but once I play a game one of them goes black. I also tried the balance board but it took over wiimote 1 so I had to pull the batteries. The newer release (4896) seems to be worse then the others. When ever I try to pair up with the wiimotes windows keeps telling me it found new devices... Not sure it that matters.
This feature is close but so far...
I've got the MS stack, 2 wiimotes and a balance board...
