why in gods name do you all want a craptop?
they are not made for gaming!
they are always much more expensive for a lower performance!
you can play dolphin (and much more) fullspeed on a selfbuilt 350€ PC!

i have built a desktop that i am going to sell and eventually make a new one, i know it is alot cheaper to make a desktop, it is just that they are not portable.

Some people actually need a powerfull workstation/gaming PC on the go.
Sure it's more expensive for less performance, but it's way more portable than a tower.
(and when you talk about building your own PC you must have in account a good LCD and other stuff aswell, so I doubt you can build one with only 350$)
PS.: I'm soon going to buy a laptop with an i7 720qm (not for dolphin), and apparently a 720qm using 2 cores is said to be slightly better than a T9800 (dual 2,9Ghz), so if you can get someone to test dolphin with that processor, you should be good to go. (

i'm too not waste my buck for core 2 duo,i7 is good but i want more who know the future ,may be one day project natal will be playing on a laptop soon
How good are the laptop i7's compared to the desktop versions?

Weaker, but much better than the quad core we have now on the laptops (the weakest i7 720qm (1,6ghz) kicks the q9000 (2,0Ghz) ass on several benchamrks)
