Full Version: Is my PC not up to the task - can't run any Gamecube roms without judder

CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz  3.19 GHz
Ram: 48GB
GPU: Nividia 1060 GTX
OS: Windows 11
Dolphin Version: 5.0-21543

I would have thought that my specs were fine for running gamecube games in Dolphin but I can't get any to run without any juddering or go above 29 fps
Are far as I can tell all my settings are correct - anyone have any ideas?
Sounds like a computer power management problem. Try setting your Windows Power plan to High performance, and In the Nvidia control Panel, make a profile for Dolphin and set the power management to prefer maximum performance.

I found the issue.
I could either turn off v-sync and it worked ok OR I could change my display settings from 4K down to 1080 (PC is plugged into a LG 4K tv)
Does your TV only supports 4K at 30 Hz?
