Hi there, this is my first post on here, nice to meet you all :] I managed to get Dolphin running on my Debian 12 today, and am trying to create a save state within a file instead of the slots provided as I have more games than slots. However, when I try to save a state, it creates a folder for that state but upon checking back in that space, there isn't anything there nor can I load anything. I'm hoping to be able to keep my states in one place and am not sure how to do it, I'm not super tech savvy with emulators or Linux. Any help is appreciated, thank you!
Just so you know, the slots are per game. So as long as you don't need more than 10 savestates for each game, using the slots is fine.

As for the question you're asking: How did you install Dolphin? Was it through the package manager, by building Dolphin yourself, or through something like Flatpak or AppImage?
