I've been having this problem for a long time
When I play a game that uses the Wiimote's speaker (Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles, Wii Sports, etc.) the sound comes out fine, but the Wiimote freezes and only reconnects if I remove and insert the battery.
I tried activating LLE audio, but nothing changed.

I remember the controller work normally when I reinstalled Windows, it didn't freeze. but when I had to re-install it again (long story to why I did that) it froze again.

Does anyone know if there's a way to stop it from freezing?
What version of Dolphin are you using? Have you tried Bluetooth Passthrough?

I have the same problem and made a thread about this. HOTD2 and 3 lags a lot the wiimote when speaker sound is playing. Its impossible to aim because the lag. Turning speaker data off solves this.

Probably related to bt chip. Im using intel bt. Guess some bt are not able to hold the connection when this occurs. BTW intel bt doesnt have audio at all on TR ones.

Guess the only solution is use passthrough. Emulated mode didnt receive improvements in a long time.
