Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Hello,

I tried to launch Dolphin on my Windows 11 PC (RX 7900XT / 7800X3D) but Dolphin is slow / buggy / long to start / impossible to close without an "waiting to respond", I can't even go to the controller settings, Dolphin hangout and I have to kill it...
I haven't even started a game yet...

I tried latest beta and the dev version, same issue, I also tried to launch Dolphin with Vulkan / Direct3D 12 backend when I succefully launch Dolphin, same issue.

Is anyone having same issue ? Or I'm missing something ?
I cant find anything online...

Does this issue only happen with Dolphin? Have you changed any settings?

Yes, only with Dolphin...
All default settings, just tried other backend.

It might be hardware related, but that's just a guess. Maybe try unplugging everything usb related, except for mouse and keyboard, yes even unplug game controllers. If that doesn't work, try disabling bluetooth, if you have that. It would be the adapter that could potentially cause the issue, not the connected bluetooth devices.

It was my display USB HUB ! (AORUS FI32U)
I unpluged it from my computer and everything works fine/smooth as expected !
