For a while I've been trying to figure out why Dolphin was freezing and crashing not only itself, but my whole computer. I've discarded my CPU, and faulty drivers. For some reason Dolphin is making the display drivers on my pc to crash and sometimes not be able to recover. The problem can be described as regular game hanging, sometimes it recovers and I can save the state before it crashes, but most of the time it just freezes the whole computer. When it does freeze the whole computer, sometimes it shows the blue screen of death, where it says the nvidia drivers were the issue.

To make sure I wasn't having a faulty card, I tested other 3D intensive games such as CODMW2 and Darkfall....all with max settings and not one glitch. I know Dolphin is always under development and far from perfect, but maybe some of the latest builds have developed a hiccup with nvidia.

Or maybe I'm crazy...just trying to help

Any suggestions?

Your GPU is the problem, new nvidia drivers should release in a few days.

Yeah, it's the software, all other games perform flawlessly and the XFX tech supposes the same.
If that were the case, your problem wouldn't be unique now would it?
I'm sorry but in reality what is the purpose of producing a thread such as this, if you plan on being a stubborn mule?
Do what i said and wait a day or two, Dr. Naïve.
