Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

I just downloaded and tried to run Dolphin 5.0-20519. The result is that it crashes when loading a game. For comparison, I was previously using 5.0-19316 with no issues.

Can you find which Dolphin version between 5.0-19316 and 5.0-20519 started the crashing for you?

I made an account to pop in and say that I have come across this same exact issue, but it wasn't on version 5.0-20519. After testing comparing the last "beta" version (
5.0-20347), and the last 18 or so development versions (as of this writing, 12/5/2023) after updating from 5.0-20406 which was the last known working version for me, the problem (at least on my end) instead starts happening on version 5.0-20555 and onward. Last known working version is 5.0-20551.

Since the version is different, I suspect you're hitting a different issue. Which game(s) are you having this issue in?

After further testing, it is indeed a separate issue. My apologies for clogging up this thread, I will CC you in a new thread.
