so if dolphin contains the key for decrypting Wii games and that's copywrite infringement why haven't they taken down the emulator entirely (in reference to the steam dmca takedown)
how it looks legally with the key is not a simple question,
the dolphin team will certainly comment on this once they have discussed internally what they are doing.
I imagine they'll remove it from the code and add a text file that requires the user to enter it and tells the user where/how to get it. Alternatively they could work on a way to not need the key, which would be better for preservation but probably dang near impossible.
