So I wanted to connect my wii remote to my computer for dolphin, my games used to run at a smooth 60 fps, now my games lag at around 40, even if my wii remote is not connected, it will still lag, anyone got any ideas?

A couple of questions:
Are you on a laptop or desktop?
What Bluetooth hardware do you have?
Do you have Windows Power Management set to high performance?
Do you have a profile in Nvidia Control Panel for Dolphin, with the Power management set to "Prefer maximum performance"?
