Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Hi, I've been experiencing brutal slowdowns in Dolphin, even on default graphics, specifically in Super Mario Galaxy 2. My specs are sure to emulate Wii games fine, and in fact, before I had this problem, my gaming laptop could run the game fine perfectly at 60 FPS, at 1080p resolution. Now, I don't know what's been going on with the slowdown on my laptop, and I'm not the most tech savvy guy. Same problem applies to PC games as well, specifically God of War. I tried redownloading Dolphin, but whenever I open a game, it would just crash.

How do I fix this problem?

Update: Problem now fixed! SMG2 is running at 60 FPS! Don't know how though.
